I looked up the ingredients for Bremil formula and it went a long way toward explaining the addition of other foods as early as possible. It was basically skim milk and fats enriched with a few vitamins.

My daughter was horrified enough that her pediatrician had instructed me to give her water as an infant. 🤣

I found my 1 month infant care instructions from 1964 which recommends feeding a 6 week old ‘meats.’
