Hermit reader and artist. Three years in India.
One year at the Morgan Library, there was a show of Albers' dry runs with the mixes of colors written on each block of color. It was brilliant to see how he worked. They did that with many artists there on the second floor. I believe that tactic is over, sadly.

That's ridiculous. I'm already on Signal. Hope the best for you both. Bluesky keeps asking me if I'm writing in English when I post. Something's wonky with this app.

I first saw Rosencrantz by chance while living in Minneapolis. It is the most watched movie in my long life. Tom Stoppard incited me to read Shakespeare. I so enjoyed his climactic work. He will be missed.

How are you both? I think of you often. I'm so glad you have a friendly family life. Not having such is a disturbing challenge. Let the weather be with you more often than not.

It's different. Smooth semi-silence in the warmth of words no matter what the topic.

Absolutely agree. You're taken away by the words and the weather. A kind of warming thing.

Thanks. I finally figured out how to get it on my Kindle.

These are marvelous posts. Cheered a miserable day for me.

Still my favorite book after many years of reading. I always have a copy.

I hope my book comes soon. My library may have it.

At least some loveliness amidst all the trouble. Oh, to be away from here. And for my damn foot and back to stop hurting. I'd enjoy being Queequeg, tatoos and all, and throw a harpoon at the offensive bro.

I'm sorry you're having endless trouble. I called my self-involved brother only to end up angry. I thought I'd cheer myself w decorations. Instead, the chair slid & I fell. I held onto a vice so I wouldn't hit the floor. Now I'm crippled for a while. It doesn't help but I'd rather be by a boat.

Klee is an extraordinary artist of a multitude of presentations. He worked on any substrate he could find.

I'm sorry this isn't on Zoom. I'd love to see it.
