If you want to do it casually, by all means! I did what I wanted lol. But streaming for a living requires just as much as, if not more effort as a proper job imo and unfortunately I think people not understanding that aren’t going to find the comfort they seek with it

Like just looking at it from a bystander perspective who learnt about media and entertainment, unfortunately just chilling with your favourite games is not enough to make a living with the current state of it; there’s a lot of work to put into audience, uniqueness, current trends and networking etc.

It’s nice seeing streaming become this strong force in the entertainment industry, but as a result I get concerned that a lot of people who are like “I’m gonna stream for a living” don’t fully grasp how much of a bigger effort it is now to do so as a result
