Apologies? For being patronizing? Not accepted. There are plenty of alternative media sources out here right now. Maybe your media understanding is severely deficient.

He can't. He's not born here.

Allow us a bit of wry amusement. Meanwhile, media could be pointing out the dangers of allowing mega-rich to intertwine into our gvmt to the point of causing a crisis because of a two-"man" hissy fit. There's a place for bureaucracy & disallowing privatization of key security roles (satellites, etc)

We don't acknowledge (and possibly calm) the fear-based biases of some, instead ridiculing them. We aren't perceived as pro-working class, so our messaging must be off.

When anyone "transgresses" in any way--say some sort of "microaggression"--many Dems are up in arms. We don't prioritize causes to include the majority of Americans' issues but champion the small minority's causes. We have become as rigid thinkers (rather than nuanced) as the right.

I'd stop at Lincoln.

I see a Kennedy Center Award in his future. Esp if he is actually there to aid Russia in Ukraine negotiations

Is that "Trump voter" singular? Because the rest of the cult seems quite happy according to poll numbers. Many seem to think, oddly, that the thousands of civil servants about to lose their jobs are all democrats.

"The 2025 fiscal year budget agreement for New York City libraries includes a full restoration of $58.3 million in funding" There are 219 libraries in the NYC library system

I see you're a doctor as well as an economist. As I said, that outlandish figure isn't true for all, if any, libraries
December 5, 2024 at 4:57 AM
I'm not going to bother verifying your excessive figures, but even if true for NYC it isn't for the rest of the country.
December 5, 2024 at 4:54 AM
Clearly you're misinformed. Libraries provide resources for everyone, including internet access to those who can't afford it, and valuable books and other learning tools for children. They offer free reading material in paper, kindle, or audible formats. Everyone I know uses the library.
