I offer a middle ground: outrage transformed into action. people can and SHOULD be outraged but like you said there’s a difference between just making noise which is performative in my opinion and actually contributing in physical ways

I wholeheartedly agree—I think one of the biggest issues with social media activism is the pressured obligation to engage otherwise we’re “not contributing” or “not using our voices” but realistically we need to choose our battles to preserve our own mental health.
