I’ve been trying to figure out how to have a life and do classes and mom and work and commute. I can craft while I watch lectures! Cut patterns and fabric, knit, crochet, spin, weave, fold laundry… I’ve made progress in this shawl after a long hiatus. 🥹

I have a hole in a shawl that I’ve knit. I’ve no idea how it happened…I’m out of the yarn that I had and am attempting to mend it with another variegated yarn with similar colors. Yall. Please wish me luck bc idk what I’m doing…exactly…maybe a little bit. We will see😩.

After the year that I had last year, I am wiser and smarter, kinder to myself and am thankful to get the chance to do over all that went awry last year. 🙌🏾🙌🏾 Let’s roll!

Every so often, even when things are really not going well, I stop and think, “am I in a movie and I just don’t know it yet?” Like, I’m a country girl who loves France and libraries but I’m done attracting the Gastons of the world. It’s time for the Prince to show up.

I grew collard greens and it got too hot and they bolted. I eventually pulled them but they had seeded the bed and that fall I had the best greens ever without doing a thing! I miss my garden so much.
