It’s $42m for his age 36 and 37 seasons when he already never played D, and no one will buy any attempts to drive. He’s a spot-up shooter. Doug McDermott would be as effective as Dame will be in 2026-‘27. Blazers need 41 sellouts in 3 seasons when he’s only playing in 2 for this to make sense

If the Knicks had a soul-battle or whatever like from “Highlander,” even the last Knick standing wouldn’t be half the player LeBron was for the one title team Brown coached, so good luck replacing that.

You can use your MLE toward signing a player who signs for more? What’s the point? If the total annual value of it puts you over the tax, then you only pay on the remaining cash?
