I think it’s a bigger problem that a large part of the left is uneasy or downright hostile to showing any pride for Dems and their accomplishments. It’s either cringe or something that is tone deaf because someone, somewhere is still suffering.

“Let’s go Brandon” was bizarre, unamerican, depraved at its core. And we didn’t want to have a conversation about how so many of our fellow citizens have reached that point.

I went to a Yankees game in 2021 and people unfurled a giant “Trump won” banner. Liberals responded to this with unease and shame, instead of defiance or pride.

Downtown Detroit is kind of unbelievable now. There’s probably better downtowns but not in most states
