You Yin Hotpot: Liuzhou, China 🍲
Walked past this place in Yaobu Ancient Town and the smell basically dragged me inside. Their split hotpot was really good. Spicy for the parents, mild for my son.
Fresh shrimp paste, thick ham, and that tripe on ice… absolute win.

We’re now working with him and a couple of Western chefs on chef knife designs to help share his work beyond the workshop.

Well that's what we've been dealing with in July, hopefully the rain has now passed.
We got hit a bit, but were able to relocate all of the stored goods and most of the equipment before it got too bad!
All back up and running now though thanks to the team here, love you guys!

This is Monkey Mountain, Liuzhou. It used to be a small karst mountain park but has since been abandoned for the last 10 years or so and reclaimed by nature!
There is a troop of macaques who have taken up residence & are extremely friendly so we climbed the hill to meet them！

We were lucky enough to get invited to the local school to take part in Science day, our son was on the elastic band cars but there were some other interesting things throughout the day, including my favourite a sweeping robot!
I really miss doing things like this now I'm old!
