I had no friends in my mid-teens. Online was my only social life. Add on all of the things I've learned how to do online. Cooking, crafting, repairs on and on. Not to mention, met my partner on a forum 20 years ago! I wouldn't be here now if it weren't for those connections.

I use discord only to chat with my family... Tried the social thing, but as a massive introverty person even that was too much for me. 😅

Like I said, I'm just happy she has a good home now!

If only I still had my HOTAS, this sounds like great fun! I got the tomcat, because well...It's a tomcat. And Top Gun may have come out the year I was born. That may have influenced me a little.

When I was in scouts, at the age of 8-10, the local police took us to the station to learn about their work. They fingerprinted us so we could see what it was like. Not sure if it was actually entered into the system. Still was kinda weird, looking back.
