And that’s the end and I have once again successfully hit my target. I struggled to play many games this years, so I had to spend little time catching up and cut it close.

I still enjoy the challenge and find myself beating more games than starting. Looking forward to 2026!

25.) Fatum Betula

A horror game with graphics reminiscent of the PS1 era. Has a very eerie feel to it and while of course I unlocked arguably the worst ending, I look forward to exploring the games to its fullest.

24.) Fractured Minds

A short game tackling trauma. It was pretty interesting and I found it pretty creepy.

23.) Kirby’s Dream Land

Never fully played through this classic until now. Solid classic. Weird not seeing Kirby able to copy abilities though.

And yeah, I’m playing through short games to get to the 25 mark. I’m gonna hit that goal one way or another. One day left!

22.) Bad Dream: Coma

A challenging point-and-click puzzle game with a grim premise. Naturally, I immediately doomed myself to the bad ending by clicking on a crow. That resulted in a very unsatisfying abrupt ending in the final chapter. It’s a cool game tho, will tackle again!

21.) When the Past was Around

A short point-and-click narrative game. The art and aesthetic is wonderful, but the story is bitter sweet. I do quite enjoy games like these though.

20.) A Juggler’s Tale

A short game about a puppet breaking free from the controlling narcissistic narrator. It was fun and I found it to be quite fulfilling.

19.) Milky Way Prince - The Vampire Star

This game tackled some serious topics and shines a light on abusive relationships in an accurate light. I loved the aesthetic of the game as well. Definitely a sad play, but meaningful

18.) Peepaw’s Farm

The reviews for the game convinced me to give it a try and wow, they sure were accurate. That sure was the 5 minutes of my life

17.) Superhot: Mind Control Delete

Forgot I beat this earlier in the year, too. Always wanted to try a SH game and I dig the concept. It’s fun and feels satisfying to evade and shatter the enemies. Would love to play it via VR sometime.

16.) Vampire Survivors

I’ve been playing this a ton this year and have been having a blast. While I still have a lot to do and the amount of content in a $5 game is a ridiculous steal, I technically beat the “final” boss and saw the credits.

It’s a great game I’d recommend.

15.) Card Storm Idle

Saw a free game on Xbox and tried it out. It’s fine, very lackluster and not much to look at, but you can’t beat the great price of free. It’s not terrible, but I don’t think I would pay for it.

Easy GS is a bonus.

14.) Bluey: The Videogame

I had completely forgotten I 100% the Bluey game while playing with my sister earlier this year.

The game was a bit buggy and not the best to handle, but it did feel faithful to an episode of the show, so it wasn’t nearly as bad as everyone said.

13.) WarioWare: Twisted!

Tbh, I forgot this game existed entirely and never played it, but like all WW games, it’s charming and fun. The tilting controls held up a lot better than I thought they would, too

12.) I Did Not Buy This Ticket

This is definitely more of an art piece than a game, but your choices will determine the ending and having a role to pay is satisfying. I loved the aesthetic and look forward to getting all endings.

11.) Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar

Started the original game last year and thought it had a lot of potential, but it needed a few QoL changes. This remake does just that and I appreciate all the new story and scenes with the characters.

I look forward to seeing the next mainline game
