One day after the White House environmental justice website went dark, please join me in welcoming the father of environmental justice to Bluesky. Yes, sociologist @drrobertbullard.bsky.social literally defined the concept in his 1990 book, Dumping in Dixie: Race, Class and Environmental Quality.

Love this from CPA-NA!
We are not swallowing the next four years whole, but day by day, decision by decision. Our plan:

1) Assess & listen to people on the ground;
2) Separate fear from fact;
3) Distinguish performative outrage from actual work/real solidarity;
4) Stay connected to who & what we love. Even more.

A reminder that everything you are feeling around climate change and this polycrisis is normal. The key is learning how to navigate these feelings so they don’t overwhelm you. Resilience doesn’t mean avoiding emotions, it means finding ways to move through them with care.
