literally the most unfun parts of black mage were the way too strict rotation with a way too tight timer and awkwardly restarting your rotation from the start every time there was enough downtime to drop your states its great

maybe unpopular opinion but i don't think axeing the timers on black mage's states is bad?
like. it means you're not on a crazy strict 30 AF second timer where you HAVE to cast 6 f4s or die, it opens the class up for alternate rotations, more ways to safely deal with mechs, and faster death recovery
