i think theres a big difference between "entity we hired to do something used ai and we didn't catch it" and "we are experimenting with ai cuz we think it's cool or useful". the former is a sparingly forgivable offense which is why im not made at sandfall (e33) this time. the latter is unacceptable

as one of the seemingly very few people who played e33 and was like "oh shit i gotta brush up on my jrpgs", and then actually went and followed through on that brushing up - that experience only made me appreciate e33 even more. i think it's going to win an incredibly deserved game of the year
