Thrilled to host Prof. Michael Assfalg from the Università degli Studi di Verona, who carried out advanced #NMR studies to investigate Tau protein interactions.

📍 Measurements were performed on the 950 MHz #NMR spectrometer, with the support of Dr. Fabio Calogiuri from the CERM/CIRMMP staff.

An international team, including CERM/CIRMMP researcher, has recently published with Nature Magazine a pioneering study on human monoclonal antibodies capable of neutralizing the hypervirulent, pandrug-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae ST147

Monoclonal antibodies protect against pandrug-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae - Nature

Capsule-specific human monoclonal antibodies are protective against bloodstream infection by Klebsiella pneumoniae sequence type 147 in a mouse model of septicaemia, and could provide a useful strategy against pathogens with antimicrobial resistance.
