If you have an idea for a #physics experiment to conduct at a particle accelerator, submit your proposal for a chance to spend two weeks at CERN, Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY) or Electron Stretcher Facility (ELSA) to perform your experiment.
It features improved granularity, enhanced radiation resistance and extended tracking coverage, integrating silicon pixel and strip layers. These are enabled by advanced technologies such as serial powering and specialised readout chips.
