I kept from getting too hurt about by feeding off the belief that the defense was so depleted that, had we managed to slip past Washington, we weren't gonna beat Philly. Today did little to change that belief.

Been teaching high school kids for 33 years. At some point in the future we'll wonder why we didn't deny kids access to social media and perhaps smart phones the way we restrict any other vice.

As good as MSU hoops has looked, there's a world where Kohler, Booker and Carr all find another level or two. If that happens in East Lansing, Izzo just might get that 2nd Natty....even if we have to wait a year. Tough needle to thread but if everyone comes back next year ...
