The thing with getting back into watching films is that you suddenly realise how much sh*t is out there.

February has been a truly garbage watch month so far. The Piano Lesson & Gladiator II have been the only saving graces out of 23 films.

I have now seen 8 out of the 10 Best Picture nominees:

✅ Wicked
✅ Nickel Boys
✅ A Complete Unknown

The most unrealistic thing so far is that everyone's constantly wondering where Hanno comes from when he literally has the most Roman looking face in the film. #GladiatorII #filmsky #moviesky

All I kept thinking at the end was, 'Remember when William Burroughs returned from Quito with his bf and then shot & killed his wife?' Guess he left that bit out of the novel. #Queer #filmsky

#SingSing was stunning.

Why did I follow it up with #SaturdayNight?

Anyway, #Wicked is next.
