As I said on the other place a few days ago, I really don't think this will bring about peace, just a short ceasefire. Hope I'm wrong.

tbh I'm not jealous. A friend much richer than me (has own successful company) had a fortnight in Las Vegas in July and seemed to spend most of the time by a pool with an enormous paved area full of people with views of skyscrapers. And I just thought "why"?

@southlondongirl.bsky.social hasn't asked me what I had for dinner. I made a tomato, feta and ham tart, with less feta at one end as my wife doesn't like too much. Cucumber and mint salad, Pinot Noir. Tomato plants moved from or old house to our new one.

You didn't ask me what I had for dinner! I confited a couple of duck legs on Monday in a slow cooker and had one then and one tonight. Finished in a hot oven. Made a rosti and cooked some green beans.
