Got the hardcopy of the Handbuch Weimarer Republik yesterday, very happy to be part of it with the list that started my PhD research in 2020 (and thanks to @marenlickhardt.bsky.social it turned into a publication, after sending a simple tweet).

Very happy to share that the first publication connected to my PhD research is a fact! It was published in an edited volume on Babylon Berlin, which also has a gorgeous 1920s design!

Writing a dissertation...
A four panel Peanuts comic, in which Snoopy sits on top of his dog house with a typewriter. In the first panel, he writes 'Why dogs are superior to cats'. In the second panel he paused and thinks, after which he continues to write 'They just are, and that's all there is to it!'. In the fourth panel he looks up to the reader and thinks 'Short and to the point!'

In the second panel, she stretches out her hands and says "All I want is for everyone to have peace, joy and love". In the third panel, Charlie Brown asks her: "Do you really mean that? Are you sincere?" Sally looks thoughtful. In the fourth panel, she walks away, saying "No, I think I've finally flipped", leaving Charlie Brown stunned.
