Actually the “where” makes all of the difference. Pete went on a show that is targeted at a different audience and methodically laid out his philosophy of governing. Newsome brought different voices to HIS audience and his audience was forced to listen to white nationalist drivel. Not alike at all.

I like Pete’s response to this on the Flagrant podcast. The only way you know what the voters will accept is to run and find out. Ruling him out without trying is not the right course of action.

If you have ever heard him talk, he understands issues like no other candidate I’ve ever witnessed. He listens to questions and actually answers what’s asked rather than the talking point he would rather make. He is very intelligent and communicates clearly and concisely. He has fresh ideas.

Asking him to give daily press conferences is not the equivalent of being a press secretary. I actually don’t see anyone using that title. Since we are devoid of Dem leadership right now, he wouldn’t be parroting anyone else’s opinion.
