What can we do with these warehouses? When we’ve kicked this admin to history? Can they be mini-villages?

So grateful for your efforts. We in NE MN are organizing but we all have whistles—we carry them when venturing into the BWCA and surrounding woods. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness.

In Minnesota, the "chickadee check-off” is the line at the end of the state tax return where you can donate money to wildlife restoration efforts in the state. Chickadees are in our state year-round.

Thank god for the men in these northern woods
They do not follow leaders in this world,
who target as soldiers the boys who play
and teach them to go forth with melting heat,
ignoring innocent screams on the wind,
leaving only a bloody, grave-strewn ground.

Tranquil corners seem so rare in this world.
The ugly beat of hatred turns up heat
on ancient quarrels not buried in ground
but given huge fierce wings that rise on wind
to prey upon the hopeless child who plays,
dreaming of a safe, snug house in the woods.

My mother said, “If you are drowning yell I SHALL DROWN, because if you yell I WILL DROWN, you are expressing the intent to do so, and someone might decide you don’t want to be rescued.” She was a speech teacher.
