I don't know, web development is a particularly broad and also fast moving area, a reasonable amount of what might get taught on a more focused course could be considered dated by the time it's finished. Keeping the course and material current must also be a challenge.

I have similar concerns and I've barely interacted with the other place personally, but if too many people leave the other place that would fight against what's happening then it only gets worse, it's not the time to leave, yet...

I agree that account enumeration is possible via registration so there's little benefit, although I would argue that it's marginally harder due to registration needing more fields, and different ones per site.

What extra friction is created by that wording though? I don't see it.
