I don't have a ghostwritten memoir, but even I know you don't open with scorched earth tarriff threats. Now the entire world knows he can't hang. This is not a master negotiator. He's not even a master baiter.

Canadians, I know you're mad. You want to DO something, to strike back. But train your guns on the people responsible for this and not your fellow Canadians. Our government has the biggest levers. Consumption patterns will take time to change. Help us build lasting solidarity for lasting change.
It hasn't taken long for people to drink up the nationalism and approach a complex economic situation with brow beating.
I've already seen people commenting "make sure Canadians work there" which is going to exacerbate bigotry towards south asians in particular.

Well yes. And that his 54 felony convictions will be upheld, he's being "sentenced" on Friday, and Jack Smith is dropping the J6 case report on the same day.
All of this is purely designed to distract his base from the true purpose of his presidency: the transfer of trillions of dollars to the richest people and businesses in the country.

It can't happen, short of military conquest. There is no mechanism in thr Canadian Constitution for the GoC to disband confederation. Keep asking what this is distracting you from.
This whole discourse is stupid (not to mention dangerous), but how exactly do these conservatives think a country full of people accustomed to universal healthcare would vote as the 51st state?

It was definitely why I wrote poetry, back when I wrote (wretched) poetry. And it worked. I met my wife at a reading.

I often have the feeling that I'm just too dumb or illiterate to "get" certain things. However, I liked Nosferatu. It was visually stunning: chiaroscuro brought to life, and it threw the standard story beats out the window. /1
