Went for another run today to soak up that EOD sunlight, ya gotta get it where you can

Updating the run thread. Got a surprise day off on Thanksgiving which was wonderful because I got to turkey trot @joecreasonparkrun.bsky.social 🦃 felt really good that day

Anyway, I went for a run today for the first time in a long time. It was really nice. Just under three miles. Had to walk a little, which is fine. Saw a gorgeous mushroom.

I’ve been putting most of my efforts into lifting heavy so I’m not as ~liiiimber~ as I used to be. I think this training will look and feel different. Not bad or good, just true!

In a fugue state I signed up for the derby half marathon when it was cheapy. I haven’t trained for a half (or run regularly, lbr) since spring of ‘23.

Ugh are you kidding me! That second one needs a frame, stat!! 🥰
