![Yes, it’s true. I have been living a lie. Based on my profile pic, many of you may have assumed that I am a man who does not wear glasses. In reality, this couldn’t be further from the truth. The truth is, I am a man who DOES wear glasses most of the time (as evidenced by this selfie of me, which isn’t really a selfie, as it was taken by a computer when I entered into the building today). I will note, that I DO have contacts. I just find them a little agitating and I’m also lazy. Both of these factors normally lead to me just opting to wear my glasses. However, I will note, that I tried wearing contacts again just the other day. While the first hour was annoying, I ended up forgetting about them. (Success?) After that I vowed to start wearing them every day for a week as an experiment. I unfortunately failed this experiment the next day when I forgot about the whole thing. I am in an unfortunate situation right now though as my glasses lens, specifically my right lens (the left for you) is all scuffed up. Except it’s not normal scuffage. See, I recently got transition lenses (which means they adjust to the sun [I initially thought it might like transitioning into getting old but I was wrong]). Anyways, the scuffs on my right lens are specifically scuffs to the photochromic (I googled that word but idk if it’s right cause apparently my answer was AI generated?) part of the lens. No matter what I do, I can’t clean these scuffs, so for weeks now it just results in me constantly thinking my right lens is dirty since the scuffs cause blurriness. I did order a new pair but, alas, I’m still waiting for the eye doctor people to let me know when they’re ready. Wait, is “they’re” the right word to use for my glasses? Like it’s one thing.. although I guess there are 2 lens so I guess that works. But what about something like pants for example? I mean I guess they have two legs.. never mind, I thought I was onto something.
