This is inhumane and expensive. It costs $65k per year to house an inmate. Why would they want to send them back for just tiny infractions?

I became a vegan 10 years ago.I dont agree with how our food has changed. Changes that make only a handful of people wealthy, while the population gets shitty food. Sadly meat consumption has increased

Those countries’ meat would taste 10x better than the meat here. A person can still find a proper butcher who raises their own cattle but they are tough to find

In North America, cows are fed grain or feed that has been drastically altered. Manure has turned into a toxic liquid. It would be in same lines as cows burps and farts are causing climate change. We have messed with their stomachs too much. They had not adopted.

I don’t think you are aware how much modern farming has changed. Grass fed free range is not the norm any more
