I won't rail on the production though, that stuff is stressful and I'm sure a lot of issues can be attributed to accidents and such. It is somewhat ironic though that the Streamer Awards full of people the Stream Full Time has production issues with switching scenes and camera work.

Fat shaming Caseoh on stage isn't a good look either. Even if its the type of joke his chat would make every day, you aren't his chat, you're the Streamer Awards. You can't get away with these kinds of jokes when you're on a stage.

Calling Kai Cenat "Diddy" doesn't sound good. Constantly making references to Faze being misogynistic really undermines their recent efforts to be more accepting and inclusive.

I don't mean any offense to the creators and hosts, but a lot of the jokes made did not seem rehearsed or checked over. I see many saying that they are only bad out of context, but that is exactly the kind of thing you need to think about at events like this.

And while I admire qt's efforts to recognise creators and their achievements I feel that sometimes it is too risky to invite people that are problematic.

Not that the winner didnt deserve his win, just that creating a "Best Japanese Runner" category and then having an Australian Runner win doesnt really make sense. So maybe having a more clear category definition would help?

Vtubers especially felt kinda side-lined. It is interesting to have a category for best Vtuber and then not only nominate but have the winner be someone who dislikes the vtubing community and does not want to be considered a vtuber.

Which isn't a bad thing, people should be recognised for what they achieve. HOWEVER, I think that there was a lot of bias in who got nominated and who won.

I will admit I'm not really the biggest streamer fan, I only really cared about 1 category, Strategy Games. When I saw the nominees I was disappointed but understood that the streamer awards isn't there to bring creators into the light, more to rewards those who have made it
