Due to legal technicalities in the state he's not really allowed to be officially called a suspect until they know a cause of death and that there was indeed a murder.
They did get a warrant and snatch a bunch of stuff from his apartment including computers, the investigation is in the early stages.

what's crazy is the infamous "walk and talk" segments made famous by Gears of War were there because Unreal Engine 3 was an absolutely worthless shitshow of an engine and the game needed time to load.

Walk and talk was invented purely by hardware and software limitations that don't exist anymore.
