(not nearly as much spec cam experience here but) in my exp i find even if i try to pace myself my brain is still fried simply from the amount of time that i've been engaged with the game. likely something that gets better w practice tho

I found it a useful distinction to understand 'types' of commentary when I was first starting out, but I definitely agree; trying to describe my style in those terms now feels restrictive as opposed to other descriptors that would help more, like enjoying more high-stakes situations like overtime
