the solution to getting rid of the draft coming from my bedroom window after all these years wasn't weatherstrips or caulk
but duct tape
DUCK TAPE, even (the same type I used to seal my window AC unit during the summer)
one long strip covering the bottom of the sash and the edge of the windowsill

Finally took a moment to get my clock mounted on the wall above my entertainment center. I'm pleasantly surprised at how quiet it is--I practically can't hear it at all. I remember the smaller one I used to have was NOTICEABLY louder in its ticking.

Having to use the alarm clock function in my iPod Classic (yes, it does have that) got me nostalgic for when I used to own one of THESE bad boys. Got it from a Scholastic book fair when I was, like, 11 years old. Either I still have it or I gave it away, I don't know.

Of course, it didn't help that my laptop at the time CLEARLY wasn't built to handle Blender--this short water simulation from 2014 took SEVERAL HOURS to render and turned my laptop into a space heater. Now that I'm on way more capable hardware, that's half the problem solved.

As someone whose early memories of PlayStation included playing a demo of the original Gran Turismo, I'm SO happy Clubman Stage Route 5 is back in GT4. This is the best it's EVER looked. 😍
I'm already liking this game's version of Photo Mode, too. This'll be fun to mess around with in the future. 📸
