Good thinking on your part! You're right. The guardrails keeping them in check previously probably won't stop them this time. What baffles me is how he hasn't signed papers, intends to defy the Consitution, and appointed people linked to Project 2025, yet nothing big has been done to stop him.

But it's already happening, and they haven't even taken office yet. That should spur people into action. But America has trained its citizens to submit to autority. I don't think they will until there's nowhere left to run, and not even their family, friends, or employers will protect them.

Personally, they're afraid of being caught in altercations, let alone potentially being arrested. So they would rather leave or flee than stand up against politicians or Cult 45. Mostly, people are just hoping that the remaining people in government will stop things from happening.

And urging others to participate in voting and protests... it's difficult to enforce change. As a society, most are conditioned to turn a blind eye and disengage from conflict. With training such as: "Just ignore those bullies, they'll stop eventually" type of mentality. Immigrants that I know...

I'm already writing to politicians warning them about what's to come. Urging them to get other politicians and lawyers together to stop legal actions from further damning our country. Other than asking people to refrain from purchasing from large corporations contributing to this madness...

Yes, I couldn't agree more. With Republicans controlling most of the government, we risk Trump ignoring the Constitution (as he usually does) and continuing his Presidency past the 4 year mark (which is too long for him to be in office).

I understand your viewpoint. But according to Project 2025 and Trumps agenda. It's not about becoming neutral in the face of racial inequality. It's about dismantling protections that perpetuate inequality. Deligitimizing the fact that racism exists. Reversing Civil Rights back into a Jim Crow era.

It changes everything. Walmart is a corporate giant, making it influential. It will affect the brands' reputation by not being inclusive and equitable. It will also encourage potential discrimination, exposing them to legal risks. And prevent qualified individuals from accessing fair employment.

I love that this man is doing the most while he can in favor of the American people. It truly shows how polar opposite him and the other guy's leadership roles, really are.
