This is last month's news but Nintendo acquired a studio based in Singapore that worked on Splatoon 3 www.nintendo.co.jp/corporate/re...
Since Splatoon became a big franchise for them I would guess they have been preparing to be able to work on those simultaneously with Animal Crossing

It kinda just hit me that the league is over.
I don't think I have ever played a tournament or league that has been as impactful as this one. We really played our hearts out, and we ended up getting our best result to date, at least in my opinion.

It kinda just hit me that the league is over.

If people want to play a screen weapon in 8’s can they PLEASE say something instead of just not saying anything and picking it. Usually I’ll try to avoid it then say something after the game so we don’t lose time but someone directly threw that shit on me multiple times

I was one of the cautious folks when it came to official Nintendo support, but the NA League ruled actually. I hope they take what they learned from this run and come back strong with season 2.
