The irony of steadfastly protecting monopolies because we need the product so damn much. But we can’t make it a public good because then the gov would control it. So instead we protect the company (read: billionaires) to control it?

I think what people don’t realize is that when the country is moving to the right it also means that they are moving to the right. People aren’t even noticing themselves, their own stances and values drift. Do you really think you’re immune to this cultural shift?

If you ever feel bad for only getting a few likes and hundreds of views on a post (on any platform) just remember that you could spend your 20’s going to grad school for multiple years, write a whole actual dissertation, and most likely get fewer views, likes, and follows (ie. citations?) on it.

Dreading tomorrow. This moment is like a stack of heavy, devastating problems that I have no right cry about because everyone’s going through it and I have it technically, relatively better than others. Amidst so much destruction I feel like I have to keep things OK because what else can you do?
