FINE, I've re-installed Elden Ring. Guess I'll try a mage run this time.

Everything on my list is an isekai, but they're all very well written (starting at most recommended):
1) Ascendance of a Bookworm
2) The conqueror from a Dying Kingdom
3) Min-Maxing My TRPG Build in Another World
4) D-Genesis (not really an isekai)
5) The Great Cleric

This. SO many times this. The story is amazing, there's actual character growth, the massive number of hidden puns in the series, and the world building are just top tier.

Nimi told us on the last stream she hadn't had any nightmares in weeks and was starving. Gollum is just her way of making sure she has an all-you-can-eat buffet of bad dreams.

I think the music for this series is a major reason that this series has done so well, the vibes just match up so smoothly. SAO was good at the time it first came out, but it's target audience has grown up and seen the imperfections that newer anime has corrected.

I can't begin tell you how much I love this one.
