Silksong update: Act 2 is finished, 3 is unlocked, but I’m done for a while.

Without playing Act 3, I’m giving Silksong a 9/10. I think the original was a perfect 10 because of better pacing and accessibility. I know it’s a sequel, but so much acquired Hollow Knight skill is required for this one.

Silksong update: I have made it to Grandmother Silk with the Silk and Soul quest finished. I fully plan on starting Act 3 but honestly? I want a break.

When this fight’s done, I think I’m moving on for a bit. I bought FF Tactics and I really want to dive into that for a while!

Silksong update: I’ve recovered from my Bilewater frustration. Hindsight being what it is, it wasn’t as bad as I made it out to be.

Everything bad about Bilewater was made up for in the First Sinner fight. A fast paced, easy to learn, hard to master, gorgeous piece of work.

Silksong update: I finally got through Bilewater and beat Groal the Great.

My final verdict? Silksong went from a 9.5/10 to an 8/10 because of that area alone. I will never replay this game solely because of Bilewater.

Honestly? Bilewater was the least fun level of any game I’ve ever played.

Silksong update: Team Cherry really looked at every swamp area in FromSoft’s catalogue and said “hold my beer”

Bilewater sucks

Silksong update: Mount Fay has been climbed, double jump acquired, bad words were definitely said.

Silksong Update: The completionist in me decided to go the opposite way and enter the Citadel the normal way. The result? Last Judge sucks.

I just beat Phantom and yup, Silksong is a masterpiece. That’s all. It’s perfect.
