My partner went to a wealthy suburban public high school in the Midwest that nearly every student went to college and many to extremely competitive schools and told me of so many kids who had to drop band or other electives because it would *drop* their GPA due to the boost to GPA from AP classes!

I think I recall that part of the reason Lindsey Graham wasn’t indicted in Fulton County GA was rumored because of fear that he would be immune because of this clause *even when illegally pressuring GA officials on vote counts*
