Getting back to mini posting, something from 2014 this time. An old Warmachine Warjack by Privateer Press at the time. As much as my painting skills have improved, I still really like this one; weathering metals is just really really fun.

Old paint job finished in 2022, Marneus Calgar from Games Workshop. Painted slowly, off and on, over the course of about a year. The goal with this piece was to see how I've improved over the years, with my old Finecast Calgar from 2013 for comparison. I haven't gone this hard since.

Newest paint job; The Hozumi clan from the Bushido starter box, by GCT Studios. These are a bit phoned-in in places, and Magic/OSL is something I very much need to study and improve on, but, the goal was to simply get these table-ready.

Old paint job from late 2020, A chibi Santa from the now-defunct Soda Pop minis. This one is the first time I tried out glazing on a project, a technique I use on everything now.

Old paint job from 2021, a mage from Reaper. I was a pretty heavy user of Reaper paints at this time and found their skintone triads super helpful.

Old paint jobs from early 2020. These where a collection of charity minis from Reaper that raised money for Australian wildfire relief. For me, they're among the first minis I painted after taking a four-year long hiatus from the hobby.
