Ahmed, Farah’s brother and a fellow Challenge Class teacher, lost everything.

He took on the business after their father died and had been providing for the entire family.

Please help us rebuild his future:

Farah and her family are in need of your support. She’s done so much for the challenge class children— it would mean the world if we could return that kindness to her as well 🤍

I used to stand in front of a blackboard. Now I stand before the sea, carrying the weight of a classroom I no longer have. The waves know my silence, the sky knows my prayers. I am a teacher from Gaza, now a stranger to my own home but I still teach resilience, even if only to myself.

Internet access as been cut off as the last main fiber route has been destroyed. We will continue to monitor and will let you know if when we hear from Miss Farah.

Please keep her and the students in your thoughts. They need us more than ever and we must continue to pressure to put and end to this!

Farah lost her entire classroom, but not her light. Displacement has taken so much yet students still turn to her for comfort. She carries more than we can imagine. Leave her a word of love. Let her know she’s not forgotten. 💔 #ChallengeClasses

We haven’t heard from Miss Farah. She and her family may be displaced, and Challenge Classes are on hold. Students are likely scattered. Farah will need our support more than ever. We’re watching for updates. Her voice matters—and so do the students’. We love you, Miss Farah.

During class today, a student quietly handed us her writing. On the page she had written: They bombed our house. My whole family was martyred. I was the only one left alive. Below that, in small letters: Why did I survive? Too many of our students carry stories like this.

Miss Farah and her students at the Challenge Classes had the cutest dance moment the other day. Even under siege, they create space for joy. Every child deserves safety, peace, and the freedom to just be a kid.

After weeks of absence due to resumed bombings, students returned to visit their classroom and found posters torn, desks broken and memories scattered. They walked through the ruins with heavy hearts, missing the lessons they never got to finish.

The children in Gaza are not okay. They wake up to drones, go to sleep to the sound of bombs, if they sleep at all. Grief, fear, and displacement have become part of their daily routine. This is not survivable. This is not normal. We need global, collective action now.

We lost two of our students. They were kids—smart, kind, full of potential. Bombs ended their lives before they even had the chance to grow up. We’re heartbroken. This isn’t just a number. These were our kids…

For the first time since May 27th, no one came to class today. Israel broke the ceasefire last night. It’s heartbreaking. These kids deserve safety, not fear. They deserve to learn, to dream and to just be kids. Stand with Gaza.

Nothing beats the smiles on our students’ faces when they get a special treat! A little joy goes a long way in the classroom. ❤️

We’re still far from our goal, and time is running out. After everything these kids have been through, we just want to bring them a little joy this Ramadan. A warm meal, a moment of happiness—it’s the least they deserve.

Please donate and help us bring smiles this Ramadan.

The ceasefire marked a fragile moment of hope for Gaza. This young girl’s smile, painted during a rare moment of peace, is a reminder of why we keep going—every child deserves the chance to learn, dream, and find joy, even in the hardest times.

Our students were so excited to chat with our friend, Bree, the other day. 🤩

Hoping for more opportunities like this in the near future 🤍☺️
