Due to the winter storm, CHA Cambridge Hospital, CHA Somerville Campus and CHA Everett Hospital remain open on their regular 24/7 schedules. CHA Urgent Care in Somerville and Behavioral Health Urgent Care in Malden and Cambridge will open at 10 am. All outpatient clinics will be CLOSED today.

Some CHA care centers and campuses will have special hours on Jan. 26 due to the winter storm. CHA Hospital emergency departments are open 24 hours & all CHA Hospital inpatient services will be open. All Primary Care Centers, Behavioral Health Urgent Care & CHA Urgent Care Center will open at 10 am.

This weekend is going to be frigid! Visit a local library to stay warm during the day. For overnight protection from the cold, visit local warming centers in Cambridge at the back entrance of 437 Green St. (7pm-7am), Somerville at 42 Prescott St. (5pm-8am), & Malden at 529 Eastern Ave. (7pm-7:30am).

CHA and @cambpublichealth.bsky.social recently attended Cambridge Girls in Sports Night. More than 175 Cambridge families with girls in grades K-5 attended to learn about the benefits of participating in sports through hands-on demonstrations with coaches and middle and high school athletes.

Thank you to the family of Roderick “Kito” Jackson for their generous Christmas donation of toys to the neurodevelopmental, child, and adolescent psychiatry units at the CHA Somerville Campus. The donation was in memory of Kito Jackson, a milieu counselor in the inpatient adolescent psychiatry unit.
