The duty to act does not always appear on the path we have chosen. Instead, it almost exclusively appears on the path we have not.
Petition season starts soon, and I’ll be out knocking doors in that glorious Midwest August heat. 🥵

Even $5 helps me print flyers and connect with voters across Kendall County.

I'm just a resident in Kendall County, but what’s happening in LA feels bigger than one city.

June 14, join @indivisiblekendall.bsky.social at the #NoKings protest at Ron Clark Park in Yorkville. Peaceful & lawful. Because our rights don't come with conditions.

If only the middle class could stop thinking of themselves as temporarily embarrassed millionaires, we could start to fix this cluster of a tax system
For years we've heard from the right about "welfare queens" and other so-called "freeloaders" pulling one over on the government.

But actually, it's the wealthy who are the real freeloaders — pulling one over on us all by skirting their taxes.

Where is the outrage over that?

I really hope this development will be a boon for the county. Tax rebates can be a double edged sword.

Personally, I'll love not having to drive to Naperville to get my Costco fix.

While Congress debates slashing Medicaid, local communities will be left to pick up the pieces.
Cuts don’t reduce waste, they reduce access.
Mental health care, prenatal visits, safety nets…gone.

Kendall County deserves better.

I hope this ends up being signed into Illinois law. Protecting our residents from federal government overreach is important, but doubly so for anything medical related.

Illinois is turning into a safe space for the marginalized and I'm here for it.

The monumental impact to future generations that this moron will have is heartbreaking. Every single Republican senator who voted to appoint this imbecile should be an easy target in 2026 if the Dems have any strategy whatsoever.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will direct federal health agencies to explore potential new treatments for measles as the U.S. faces its largest outbreak in 25 years. Experts fear the decision could have grave consequences, as studies show the existing vaccine is 97% effective in preventing infection.
