To be sure, there are a number of conscious and subconscious motivations for following Trump -- but to your point, the most concerning among them is that he provides a permission structure to be unapologetically immoral, and not just devoid of empathy, but to attack the empathy held by others.

I hear you! Thing is, if it comes to light that Trump has been covering for sex traffickers, or worse, he turns out to be a pedophile, it will upend his cult's foundational belief that he is an undercover agent fighting global elite/deep-state child sex trafficking. Then it's game over.

I have my concerns about the seemingly unending stability of Trump loyalty too. But if anything will change hearts and minds, it's abusing children. Also, as for motive -- Trump is always in it for the sex, money, and most importantly, the power.

That's the thing about conspiracy theories. They offer the perfect basis for creating a cult mythos. If a hole gets poked in your original theory, you can always invent another conspiracy to plug the hole. It's never ending! 🤦

When it comes to Epstein, everything is on the line for Trump. The entire MAGA worldview hinges on him being a divinely guided warrior battling a satanic cabal of child sex abusers. A conviction would shatter the core myth -- and he will stop at nothing to prevent this.

It wouldn’t just be a political blow -- it would be an existential, even theological crisis that would most assuredly upend MAGA's unwavering trust and support for the president. At that point, everything that Trump has ever claimed to be true, will have to be reevaluated. Everything!

It would shatter the core myth, collapse the “trust the plan” narrative, and expose how deeply the movement relied on projection and denial.

While the structured movement based on the cryptic "Q drops" has faded, the core beliefs and ideas popularized by QAnon have become more widespread and embedded within mainstream MAGA conservatism...

Despicable and utterly inexcusable. Take note of those that are aiding and abetting -- there will be a reckoning.

That redirection -- a narrative inversion -- is what gives this theory its plausibility: it effectively neutralized potential accusations by projecting them outward. Now that the attention is returning back to Trump where it belongs, its important to understand how we got here.
