We’re filing our domestic partnership tomorrow. Today we had the paperwork notarized, went shopping for outfits for photos at the courthouse, went to the spa, and wrote our mini vows.

I bought an emergency kit for my car, an extra gas can, a gallon of water, a car phone charger, a phone holder. I set up a blanket in the back and put an extra pair of gloves in the center console. And I sprayed the bitch down with perfume and kept the fragrance in the car too 🤗

I’m going to treat this little Honda like a Bentley. I really took my last vehicles for granted and not having one for 7 years showed me what a privilege it is to have one. I want to get it washed and vacuumed out every month, keep it clean of garbage and junk, maintain it on a schedule

I got a little opal moon charm that’s gonna go on my air vent in my car and a cute little steering wheel that has cherries on it. I’m waiting to decide if I should buy seat covers too, and maybe brighter headlights

Tomorrow is my last day relying on public transit I pick up my new (used) car on Friday 🚙🚙

Maybe buying a vehicle soon? I haven’t had a car since 2017 I think 7+ years of public transit is enough and I’m ready to have that independence back
