I know the game dev has other games, so maybe the answers are obvious, but I'm speaking to what I got out of the movie.

Like the blood ocean planet/station they're on, how did they already have lost information that was on that submarine? How much time has passed between them settling on that planet/station to the events of the movie? Is there like a New World Order situation given how information is censored?

For an advanced enough society to maintain multiple space stations, they seemed oddly censored in terms of what information each station had access to.

The necklace he had also had what appeared to be a flower/plant, so it meant a lot that Eden was destroyed in a bunch of flames. The old guy talking in the flashbacks was also giving low-key cult leader, so I wonder if the isolation from the other stations caused chains of command to break down

Since a group of them lost contact with (what I presume is) Earth and other space stations, and the station Simon is accused of destroying was called Eden and had what seemed to be the last tree. Like it was a huge deal and somewhat secret that they had this tree.

My interpretation of that is some kind of religious metaphor with the space stations that are still in contact with each other?

It was a big cause for ad-pocalypse (part 2?) lol but I'm more shook to see that the files were involved?!

The mystery of exactly why the world is the way it is, and the bigger scheme of it all, mirrored the actual mystery and uncertainty of the submarine, mission, and actual navigation of the ocean floor really well imo--like I have *some* idea, but who knows how off base it is lol

As someone unfamiliar with the game (and did not watch videos to avoid spoilers, bc at that point why not lol), I did wonder what was original to the game vs added for more plot for the film (I figure the grainy pic mechanic is obviously from the game).

That I get, I was definitely feeling "I can hear without my subtitles" extra strong. Also maybe it was just my screening, but sometimes it was dark and hard to make out the cool set and AMAZING practical sfx. The climax was so thrilling and I want to be able to see as much as possible!

There really isn't much non fox lolita, so highlighting what does exist would be really interesting!
