I feel that. I end up commissioning the same people I've been commissioning for...decades now...because they post their prices, are willing to chat about things, etc. The whole "gacha commissions" style is...not my jam. (Happy for the people it works for, just not for me.)

I think about that sometimes. My OG screen name was just "avenger(random-string-of-numbers-from-Prodigy)", and then "avenger" in IRC and such, but that was always taken. I tacked on the "epyon" one day when it was bugging me and I happened to have one on my desk.

Since it looks like the ChromeOS/Android merger/replacement is a thing that's happening, I imagine they have to make some things work finally.

10,000 years ago, there was a plan/ticket to make it a package/meta-package/etc. for FreeBSD, instead of its own distro. In an alternate universe, it probably works better.

Are you doing any hardware/software offloading? I know with mine, I can get super low latency with offloading, at the cost of some bufferbloat, or I can 0 bufferbloat at the cost of higher latency since I have to disable offloading for it. (That might not be a 1:1 thing, but just generally.)

Might be the way you balance your weight? I've had similar happen, and in my case, it seemed like it was because of the way I was sitting (toilets aren't built for tall people, it seems).

A quick search of the 8311 server makes it seem like some people are finding ways to bypass those, and others are tinkering with them, but I can't find a definitive guide yet. :will keep eyes peeled:

They don't make them like they used to (literally). I do wonder what you could get away with if you built something yourself using a lab power supply and some other odds and ends, but then I remember I rent and don't want to lose my apartment. >_>

I wish...microwaves had consistent power manipulation techniques. Some of them just run less often during the cycle, some of them have actual power changing ability, some of them just have steppings. >:T

Some of the newer ones, you can't. Supposedly it's a safety measure, as they get less accurate over time, but I'm pretty sure that they used to just beep when they got too old, and the not-being-able-to-replace-the-battery thing is a cash grab.
