Perhaps the concern is that the NAV growth is driven by Ferrari - which obviously will not be repeated and is not indicative of any exceptional acumen of Elkann. I know nothing - just speculating!

“Dominated” is a dramatic overstatement. It was a very competitive fight that could have gone either way. I thought he was actually more dominant in the second fight (a non-consensus view, admittedly).

Even if John Elkann is an excellent capital allocator, I have always had a difficult time getting excited about this one. Separately, I was surprised to just notice that Ferrari's market cap is currently 4x Stellantis.
