BGGCon is the only convention I go to since it's also local to Dallas. I guess there is a whole world of Dallas conventions I haven't heard of.

I had a lot of that last year. Preferred the 'inactive' hobbies of watching rather than playing.

This year it's been better, I've already played more games in six months then I did all of last year.

I wish I had a secret to it, but it was mostly other friends taking the reigns to plan game days.
