And with that, that's everything I played this January. Like I said don't expect this many entries next month, I just had some free time and days off I needed filling!

Mainly foccusing on backlog so if you have any suggestions for games to check out let me know!

and then I replayed Sly 2 and FF7 Intermission. Sly 2 is still goated and intermission is still FINE. The new progression updates are wild and are certainly a choice if you ever wanted to play the game without even trying. Good for accessibility though!

Kirby Air Riders is fine! City Trial is still the highlight and is a blast with a group of friends, but its rogue-lite story mode and racing leave more to be desired.

Good for a party or online with your friends, but a bit expensive for what it is!

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is like Age of Calamity if it ran properly and actually stuck to the canon. Warriors games don't necessarily speak to me, but I had a decent enough time returning to Hyrule during the imprisoning war. I liked it fine enough, but man do these games feel bloated...

Gris is an artful platformer that centres on Gris coping with grief after her mother's passing. It's not really one to play for its gameplay alone, but its beatiful artstyle and soundtrack make it worth a play if you like these kind of arthouse games.

Donkey Kong Country Returns HD. Unfortunatley I played this before the Switch 2 update this month, but I still had aa good enough time with it despite it being a cheap remaster.

These are always a fun time to run through in an afternoon or 2, and can happily recommend with the new Switch 2 version!

Klonoa 1 and 2 via the Reverie collection. I enjoyed these games well enough, but sadly I think I've played too many platformers for these to feel unique. Klonoa's cute but the level design and bosses didn't really do anything for me.

Either way I preferred 2 over 1. It was fine!

Next up: Far Cry 4, a game I have been sitting on for over 10 years. Say what you want about Ubisoft games, but sometimes one of these just scratches an itch most modern open world games don't.

I had quite a good time with this one, and Pagan Min continues the trend of excellent Far Cry villains!

First up was Persona 5 Tactica, another Persona 5 spinoff that I've been sitting on for a couple of years now. It's a decent tactics game, but its unbelievebly easy and the story is practically non-existent. I had enough fun with it, but I wouldn't run to play it unless you're a huge fan of P5.

Liked it enough but the first half is so much stronger. Don’t see myself rewatching this as often.
