Gonna do a sorta media thread again. Loose, not too strict.

First beaten game: Tales of Symphonia. Started it late December. Just finished now. I hated the opening 10 hours... but it really did take that 11th hour to suddenly be a gem. I look forward to further exploration of the Tales IP. ❤️

Highguard is REALLY good.

Say what you want about a Warriors Spinoff: Age of Imprisonment had sauce. Real good game, bittersweet ending, good stuff. Touched on a bit why Halo Reach hit home. I liked it a lot.
Had it more variety in mission structure instead of mini-boss city, I think it'd be S tier. 8/10

Started playing Soul Calibur II through Switch Online. What a nostalgia trip. Most arcade runs of the base characters done and im having a blast. Gonna have to collect for this series for sure.

The only reason that I'm excited at all for the new Battlefield is that I'm honestly sick of Hero Shooters.
Let me customize some random guy that will eventually be a generic white guy with my own loadout kit with 63 to 127 other players please. Let it be carnage.
Call of Duty would be nice too...

I beat Persona 3 Reload. Immediately saw I missed the Social Link trophy as the last one. Replayed it sped up in NG+. Just finished an hour ago.
Peak game. Platinum. Now to be depressed for a week while I seek fulfillment again.

Hit July in Persona 3 Reload. Game good so far. A bit shallow in some respects, characters are very trope heavy so far, but the simplicity of Tartarus then school life is addicting. We shall see where it goes.

AC Shadows is thus far delightful.

Was hit on the highway, rear ended completely bashing the back, in 2/28. Just got the call they're totaling my vehicle after review. Keys in the car, plates taken off. What a morning... real sad. First car and I thought it'd go at my insistence not cause of an accident. So life goes.

Been playing Control. I am having fun, but damn this is one cheesy "I'm smarter than you" story. Remedy has this on lockdown, lol. Alan Wake, Quantum Break, then this? I'll have to see how Alan Wake II holds up too at some point.

MEDIA THREAD - 2025

DIdn't really do one in 2024, a lot happened including me dropping off making content in general again. I'd like to resume and have things planned, but no ETA yet. Still working on fixing life as a whole. But for now - I'll attach things I play / read / watch to this thread.

Gonna really get back to that "Media Playlist" stuff that was popular a couple years ago this year. Anyway, just finished the audio book for "The Last Guardian" and I am amused. I knew the story but it's got some decent pacing in the second half. Audio books are fantastic while grinding stuff too!
