You might like this satirical quote. When is convenient, the law is for everyone. When it has compounded costs, is only for the ones that have privilege. It is a mistery to me why countries with socialized medicine don’t do more to maximize vax and other preventative measures.

Big soap bubbles today and got me thinking such beauty and lightness for few seconds brings so much joy.

My happy place. Flowers make me feel there is hope in the world and hammocks and sunshine recharge my emotional battery. I can’t understand what is going on in the world & how many humans have their moral compass broken?? Need to unplug and enjoy beauty.

Inclusion is wonderful. Outdoor movie night at the Burnaby’s library City Square and kids are taking turns to say good night in every language they know. #Burnaby 🇨🇦 🩷💙💜🤎🧡💛. We are stronger when we are together.

RFK Jr removing MrNA research has gutted my hope. As a Catholic, I believe the Anti-Christ would come but did not expect it to take over the full US government. My first Dahlia flowered today, so here is to hope! “They can cut all the flowers, but they can’t stop spring from coming”-Che Guevara?

Heard you speak at the DPAC and saw your video. Wanted to check if you are planning to attend the budget meeting on May 27? Wanted to connect with you. Mom of kid on Beta Mini school at Alpha.

I am sorry. Grief is so hard. My grief counsellor gave me these 2 pictures. I like to understand the why of my emotions. It made me laugh. For me, grief came in waves, and at unexpected moments. Hope you have love and support to go through it. 💕 💕

Appreciated the diverse panel in CBC and the balance and respectful way they treat each other and the insights they bring. Not the result we all wanted (yet) but really like the lack of drama and protection of election integrity.

Din Tai Fung, a Michelin gem of a Taiwanese restaurant will be opening in downtown Vancouver, BC soon! The closest was in Seattle, so yet another reason to stay home supporting #Elbowsup #Canadastrong No opening announcement date yet but can’t wait!

#581 example of why 🇨🇦 will not be the 51st anything: A Vancouver policeman guarding an elderly pedestrian crossing the street in Chinatown. He stood in place with blinking lights on his bike until she made it to the other side. The compassion and care filled my cup today. #Canadastrong #elbowsup

Cassandra Speaks by Elisabeth Lesser is another great read to celebrate International Women’s Day. It decodes the relationships of women & power & how is perpetuated in literature and boardrooms. It was NOT an easy read for me because it “pulls the carpet from under your feet. All Humans MUST read.

A great book to read in celebration of International Women’s Day: “Invisible Women: Data Bias in a world designed by men” by Caroline Criado Perez. Probing questions like “Is snow clearing sexist” or “One size fits Men”. Helped me ask better medical questions. All Humans Must read.

Another Canadian coffee shop closed down two locations in downtown Vancouver. JJ Bean is the only place in YVR where THIS Colombian approves of their coffee. Coffee so good no sugar needed because is perfect. Closed @ Duns & across the YVR library. Will try a new place but so sad w/o caffeine
